Space Center

The youth educational Space Center is intended for:

  • basic training of schoolchildren using modern information and telecommunication educational technologies and virtual reality technologies;
  • professional training of students and young specialists to work in the aerospace industry (target training of young specialists);
  • familiarization of schoolchildren and students with the history and achievements of national and international cosmonautics, exploring application of space technologies for mankind;
  • harmony of school education and patriotic upbringing (additional formal education and professional training of young people).

The youth educational Space Center represents united integrated program and technical complex, which includes:

  • mock-up of the Mir orbital station;
  • reconfigurable procedural simulator of aircrafts and helicopters;
  • high-technology multimedia complex;
  • task specific simulator of the Soyuz-ÒÌÀ transport vehicle;
  • virtual Mission Control Center;
  • multimedia conference room;
  • multimedia classroom (laboratory);
  • scientific laboratory (research module).

The innovative educational technologies, applied for teaching schoolchildren and students are implemented at the Space Center.
